He previously taught at the European University Institute, Yale and Rome III.Corsetti is a leading scholar in international economics and open macroeconomics, with contributions on currency, financial and sovereign crises, European monetary union and fiscal and monetary policy.Corsetti is fellow of CEPR, a consultant of the European Central Bank and the Bank of England.
