Dr Matteo Sandi is an Assistant Professor in Economics (RTDB) at the Catholic University of Milan and a CEP (LSE) Visiting Fellow. Matteo has been a Research Economist at the Centre for Economic Performance (LSE) since October 2015. He completed his ESRC-funded PhD in Economics at the University of Sussex in June 2016 and, during his PhD, he consulted the World Bank on the unintended impact of restrictive migration policies on labour markets and school enrolment in Indonesia. Sabina is a Health Economist in the Health Economics Bristol (HEB) group at the University of Bristol. Her expertise is in (1) the measurement and valuation of health and broader outcomes and (2) economic evaluation of public health interventions with intersectoral costs and benefits. Sabina’s current NIHR fellowship explores how best to account for the impact of fluctuating health states on quality of life measures included in economic evaluation.

Dr. Santamaria holds a PhD in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She joined the University of Warwick as an Assistant Professor in 2019. She received the Young Economist Award by the European Economic Association (2019). Her main fields of expertise are International Trade, Spatial Economics and Urban Economics. Recently she has been working on the economics of Transport Infrastructure, the persistence of Border frictions in Europe and the allocation of Public Procurement in Spain

Stéphane Saussier is a Professor of Economics and Public Management at the Sorbonne Business School – University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne – where he is running a research group working on the Economics of Public Private Partnerships. He is also a Professor of Economics at the Blavatnik School of Government – Oxford. Stéphane is regularly involved in reports for international institutions such as OECD, UN and European Parliament.

Anthony Savagar is a senior lecturer in economics at the University of Kent. His research focuses on macroeconomics, industrial organization and productivity.

Liz Sayce is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics. She was Chief Executive of Disability Rights UK (and its legacy charity Radar) from 2007-2017, where she led work for equal participation for all, through programmes on independent living, career opportunities and shifts in cultural attitudes and behaviour. Liz is Chair of the Commission for Equality in Mental Health, hosted by the Centre for Mental Health, and a member of the Social Security Advisory Committee.
