He is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Financial & Monetary Systems, and a FinTech Research Fellow at the Cambridge Centre for Digital Innovation (CDI), University of Cambridge. Chendi Zang

Chendi Zhang is Professor of Finance and Director of Research (Finance and Accounting) at the University of Exeter. He is also the Director of the Exeter Sustainable Finance Centre. He specialises in corporate finance, sustainable and responsible finance, behavioural finance, and emerging markets finance. Prior to joining Exeter in 2019, he was a tenured Associate Professor of Finance at Warwick Business School. After his PhD from Tilburg University, he worked as a consultant for the World Bank.

Ben Zaranko

Ben joined the IFS as a Research Economist in 2017. His work focuses on the public finances, with a particular focus on public spending, and on the health and social care system. Previous and ongoing research includes analysis of the impact of cuts in spending on social care, an investigation of socioeconomic inequalities in healthcare utilisation, and a study into the effects of disruptions to teams of nursing staff.

Esha Zaveri

Esha Zaveri is an Economist with the Water Global Practice of the World Bank with primary research interests in water resource management, climate impacts, environmental health, and the use of geospatial data with statistical analysis to study interactions between the environment, and social and economic systems. Prior to joining the Bank, Esha was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University’s Center on Food Security and the Environment where she is an affiliated scholar.
